Kate is a dedicated early literacy specialist with 11 years of experience working with young children. She holds a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland and has served as a lead classroom teacher, reading interventionist, and tutor. Katherine is passionate about helping every child build a strong foundation for reading and is honored to support your family's learning journey.
Taylor is the founder of I Tutor DC and a seasoned Washington DC educator with 8 years of experience in K-3 literacy instruction and instructional leadership. She began her career as a classroom teacher and quickly rose to serve as Dean of Instruction and is now stepping into the role of Vice Principal. Taylor founded I Tutor DC out of a deep passion for early literacy and a belief that every child deserves access to high quality reading instruction. She personally vets every tutor and oversees all client relationships to ensure ITDC families receive nothing short of excellence.
